About Tilker Medical Research Foundation

The mission of the Tilker Medical Research Foundation is to accelerate the discovery of new treatments and cures for neurodegenerative diseases by promoting innovative stem cell research and nanotechnologies.

The non-profit Foundation is dedicated to finding solutions to a wide range of conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Alzheimer's disease, as well as spinal cord injuries and autoimmune diseases. Embryonic, adult and novel stem cell research as well as nanotechnologies with medical applications are covered in the scope of the Foundation’s efforts. Childhood conditions will also be considered and will be given high priority.

Given the enormous promise of stem cells therapies and nanotechnologies for so many devastating diseases, it is imperative we find ways to further subsidize research facilities and laboratories involved in these important fields.

Ninety-five percent of the Tilker Medical Research Foundation’s funding is distributed to research organizations.
The board members and advisory committee members do not receive compensation.
