Grant Criteria

The Tilker Medical Research Foundation is pleased to award two types of grants to promote the most promising research into treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. The two types of grants include:

I. Seed Funding Award
U.S. based Institutional Award - $25,000
Jr. Investigators to build preliminary data
One year with the possibility for renewal:

• Lab less than 5 years
• No other funding
• Short time span
• Looking to get up and running

II. Outstanding Investigator Award - $100,000.00
International Award for Outstanding Scientist

• Demonstrative record of groundbreaking work within field
• Lab for 5 or more years
• Internationally regarded in field

The TMRF reserves the right not to make an award in a given category in a given year. Proposals are considered on the basis of their Scientific merit, and re evaluated by a panel of expert reviewers. The TMRF decisions are final and re-submittals are not encouraged.
